Business proposal
The Limited Liability company "Tomsky dom" is engaged in export of sawn and round timber to China and countries of Middle Asia. The Company incorporated in Verkhneketsky LPK (forestry enterprise) holding group. It has been a leading company among timber producers and exporters in Tomsk region for over 10 years. The OJSC «Verkhneketsky LPK» is the biggest producer of timber in Tomsk region, which was founded in 1998 on the basis of the OJSC «Beloyarsky LPK».
Nowadays the holding group takes on lease a forest plot of about 300 000 hectares. The term of lease is 2032. The average annual volume of forest utilization is 360 000 m3 per year. The plots are situated in the north east of Tomsk region on the border with Krasnoyarsk region. The plots produce high-quality cedar, pine and birch timber.
The main types of timber produced are pine, cedar, white spruce, sliver fir, birch and aspen. The harvesting technique is constantly renewed. We have felling machines, skidders, harvesters and short loggers.
The timber is cut with new circular saws made by German MS MASCHINENBAU with capacity 100 m3 of edged-surfaced timber per shift. The equipment allows producing regular timber without crimps, twists, torn grain and fringes.
The production plant is located on two sites of total 110 hectares, owned by the company. There are all necessary buildings and communications there. A well-developed railway approach lines for several dead-end tracks equipped with cranes makes loading possible on 11 loading fronts simultaneously. Due to the locomotives we possess it allows simultaneous spotting\picking the rolling stock into the entraining area.
To cooperate with the OJSC «RZhD» we have all necessary software for clearing ГУ-12 requisitions and keeping track of the railcar location.
We also carry on negotiations with railcar owners on question of shipment in our own and leased rolling stock.
We have been exporting production for 10 years. The main export production to China is birch (round timber 018 cm and more, 4.0 m long). This birch also grows in taiga in the north of Siberia. It is not large in diameter, with a small false heart, straight grain and few knots as its main advantages. It is used for peeling in production of furniture veneer sheets, as it gives the maximum of the prime quality veneer.
Our company take on lease the forest plots enough to produce 50 000 m3 of birch bolt timber of the 1 and 2 sort annually.
We are interested in finding a purchaser for all the birch bolt timber volume (40-50 thousand m3 per year). We are ready to consider various models of cooperation on different stages of production: from plot development to goods production and loading to China. We are ready to hire manpower from China.
